Your Gateway

This page is your gateway into an emerging political art movement that uses a 527 educational and awareness vehicle to create good trouble at planetary scale.

Why a political art movement now?

We are living through overlapping emergencies of climate, inequality, digital fragmentation, and democratic fatigue. Old political scripts are failing to produce either wisdom or courage. The Planetary Arts Movement invites us to treat politics itself as a medium: something we can recompose, re-score, and re-stage so that collective action becomes more truthful, imaginative, and humane.

The World Academy of Art and Science has called for new forms of planetary citizenship that integrate scientific insight, artistic imagination, and ethical responsibility. Gordon’s contribution to the X-Art launch explores how design science, narrative systems, and digital twins can help citizens see and shape the macro-patterns that govern their lives, instead of being invisible data points inside someone else’s model.

The 527 Initiative At A Glance

Organization details

A federally registered 527 political organization, structured as an education and awareness vehicle rather than a candidate-focused committee. Its mandate is to experiment with narrative campaigns, civic education projects, and policy literacy tools that make complex systems visible to ordinary people.

What it does

Designs and deploys “good trouble” interventions that are at once artworks, public conversations, and policy signals. These may take the form of narrative campaigns, interactive media, participatory events, and collaborations with artists, scholars, and community organizers.

Where it focuses

Priority themes include democratic renewal, digital and data justice, climate and energy transition, accessibility and disability rights, indigenous and place-based sovereignty, and new models of planetary citizenship.

When the 527 registration is complete and initial campaigns are public, this section will link directlyto the organizational filing, mission statement, and first-wave projects.

Who is Gordon Lee Fuller?

Gordon Lee Fuller is a design scientist, systems artist, and accessibility-focused technologist whose work asks how the emerging cyber-physical continuum can serve a flourishing planet and more dignified public life. From early community cable television and digital art labs, to virtual worlds and digital twin platforms, to renewable energy innovation and accessibility advocacy, his practice weaves together art, infrastructure, and social movements. His current focus is on treating political communication as a planetary art form: a way to choreograph attention, empathy, and agency at scales that match our shared risks and possibilities.
